Fine Paper Takeo Malaysia approached VORT3X to refresh the design of their paper swatch booklets. Divided into 4 booklets for different series of paper, each swatch booklet contains tabbed dividers designed to make it easy for users to find specific types of paper. 

Each booklet contains a different series of Japanese-themed images on the tabbed dividers as a visual mnemonic for users to easily find their paper of choice featuring Nature (Smooth), Art (Textured), Culture (Wove) and Kamon / Symbols (Specialty Collection).

The images are printed using offset printing on one side, and digital printing on another as a way for users to gauge printed outcomes. The Specialty Collection images are printed using unconventional print methods such as silkscreen and foil-stamping.

Each tab features usage suggestions, available weights for specific papers, and physical samples of the different weights / sub-categories.
